Staircases
Our most popular DNA style glass sided spiral staircase is available
in 1.6m, 1.8m and 2.0m standard diameters. The minimal curved
toughened glass balustrade really sets this staircase apart
from any other staircase commonly available in the residential
market place. Such style, design and specification makes a real
focal point to any building project and would usually only be
available within the high end commercial market at exorbitant
prices. We manage to minimise our costs by mass producing and
holding in stock all of the modular components common to each
stair and then just making the curved glass to suit the exact
stair heights and orientation required, this also helps to speed
up production times. The stair can be designed to attaché to
the side of an mezzanine floor by way of a top platform, or
can come up though a floor well in a floor in a conventional
manner. Our prices starting from £6,500 + VAT. Delivery
and fitting costs are extra and dependant upon your location.
Should you require a more specific size or design we would be
happy to quote for bespoke fabrication.
Balustrade
The glass balustrade that we offer is suitable for indoor and
outdoor use. Outdoor our balustrade can be used as a surround
to your decking, patio or pool, or for a balcony. For indoor
use our balustrade can be used as guardrail around a stairwell,
or mezzanine floor. All glass is toughened safety glass than
can be made in a thickness to suit your specification. The handrail
is brushed stainless steel of a special profile with a channel
on the underside such that it can be fixed onto the top edge
of the glass using a structural adhesive giving a clean minimal
look. The bottom grab bars are also made from brushed tubular
stainless steel. Supply only prices start at £180/m, delivery
and fitting can be quoted based upon your location.
Raised access flooring
This is a modular form of raised flooring that sits on a grid of self
levelling pedestals linked together with steel stringers. Each floor panel
is 600 x 600mm x 30mm thick and made from a dense wood based composite with
galvanized steel panels bonded to the top and underside. Each floor panel can
be lifted independently for ducting of cables or pipes etc. Typically such
flooring is commonly found in modern office blocks as a convenient means of
running utilities beneath the floor with minimal disruption when phone sockets
and plug sockets need to be moved around. We have found it equally useful in
domestic situations for instance during garage conversions to make the floor
of the garage conversion level to the rest of the house, whilst also giving
ease a flexibility to access utilities/underfloor heating below. The woodcore
floor panels are not recommended for wet areas, however, cement core panels
are also available for wet or even external decking areas.
The floor panels can be finished with ceramic or natural stone
tiles, carpet, or wood flooring, although the latter would deny
easy access to the void below. For Further information, please
feel free to make contact.
